Summary of rules
Registration Forms: Each team registration form must have a valid email address for each coach and team manager.
Guest Players: Guests players are limited to no more than 3 players per game who must have valid player passes and must be from the same club the team is registered under. Name, address, club id number, date of birth and jersey number of guest player must be written on both rosters turned in at game time. Total number of players suited for the game cannot exceed 18 players for U11 - U18. Infractions of this rule will result in forfeit and improper roster fines.
Un-played games: Any game remaining un-played at the end of the season without prior approval of the TWLC will be treated as a forfeit with all associated penalties and fines. For example, if a game is rained out, every reasonable effort must be made prior to the end of an age group's season to reschedule. Schedule it before the end of the TWLC season as it is unlikely the TWLC will allow any game to be played after the end of the season primarily due to a lack of referees.
Payment of Referee:Referees are paid on the field by each team. Each team is responsible for 1/2 of the total referee fees. The fees are listed by age group inside the brochure. Referee fees are subject to change.
Improper Rosters:Every team must provide to the TWLC office, prior to their first game, an original roster. ENYYSA teams must have their roster stamped by their district registrar. NYSWYSA teams must have certified rosters through RosterPro. It is the sole responsibility of the coach or their manager to ensure that an original roster is in the hands of the League Game Secretary prior to the first game. Email the League Game Secretary Ann Keeney at dkeeney2@twcny.rr.com.
Field Conditions: All fields are expected to be properly lined with corner flags and proper sized goals with nets. If a referee reports that a field is not properly marked or equipped, the home team may be fined even if the game is played. The referee has the discretion of refusing to allow the game to be played resulting in a forfeit for the home team.
