Important Game Day Information

I have spoken to each of the referee assignors since the beginning of the season and they have brought a few things to my attention. For the most part the referees are happy with the way the coaches, players, and fans have conducted themselves during the games. There are a couple things they would like to see cleaned up though.

Referee Fees: Please check the website for the correct referee fees (about page). Each city and/or association has different fees. The Eastern NY fees and the Syracuse fees have changed since they were originally posted on the website. We are getting the best referees in each city so it is worth the change.

Coaches Passes: I have been told if the coaches do not have their coaches passes on the sideline, the referees are not going to allow you to coach.

Uniforms: All the players on the field need to have the same uniform on (matching socks, shorts, & shirts with numbers). We do not require the Keeper to have a number. When people walk up to a field and watch a game I want it to look professional.

Game Scores: Home team, please have the game report form and a stamped envelope for the referee. They will send the Report to me. Also, when you get home from the game, email me the score of the game so I can update the website quickly.

Game Changes and Cancellations: We should not have anymore game cancellations or changes. Each week I am going to email the team manager/coaches with the upcoming games. The games are online now so if you notice any mistakes please email me at jeffknittel@hotmail.com so we can get the changes to the referee assignors. I would like to keep the relationship between the TWLC and the referees solid so the fewer changes we make the better off we will be.
